CUSTOMS REGULATIONS

You can bring with you, duty-free, the following merchandise,
as long as the items are for personal use only:

• Clothing and personal items (such as handbags, jewelry, umbrellas).
• Medications, medical, cleaning and grooming items.
• Wheel chair (if the passenger cannot walk or has a disability), stroller and toys for the traveling child.
• Surf boards, baseball bats, sports clothing and shoes, sports equipment and personal workout equipment.
• Video cameras, photographic equipment and accessories, sound recording and reproduction equipment, appliances and accessories, six rolls of film or video tapes, one radio, one television, one telescope, one pair of binoculars, one personal computer, one typewriter, one calculator (all portable devices).
• Tools, instruments or manual equipment (as long as they are not a complete set of equipment for a workshop, office or laboratory ).
• Musical (portable) instruments and accessories, books, manuscripts, compact discs and tapes, sound recording stands, pictures and non-commercial posters.
• 500gr of tobacco for every adult person, 5 liters of wine or liquor and 2 kg of candies or sweets.
• A hunting rifle and 500 rounds of ammunition (the traveler must comply with the National Weapons and Explosives Law).
• Four different kinds of hunting or target shooting weapons, camping equipment and accessories (tourists only).

In addition to your luggage you can bring in US $500 duty-free merchandise, as long as you have been out of the country for at least 72 hours, and have not been exempted from customs duty to the amount US $500 within the last six months.
If you are presenting one declaration for the whole family, all the above applies to each member of the family.
If you have not been exempted from customs duty in the amount of US $500 within the last six months, and you are traveling with 2 pieces of luggage and a handbag, present your Customs Declaration Form to the officer and then as directed, push the "Customs Traffic Light" button. If you get a green light you may leave the customs area and procede to the exit; on the red light you will be directed to the line for luggage inspection. If you exceed these allowances, you will be required to pay your duties immediately at the window in the Customs area. In case of problems or questions please call:
