Cost: 30-35 US dollars. You can pay in dollars; no need to change the money at the airport. Usually it will take approximately 45 minutes to get to our place from the airport. Take only an official taxi, do not go with a "gypsy" cab even if it costs less. It is not safe to do it. Give the taxi driver the following information:

I am going to Granada.
JOLUVA Guesthouse is located on Calle Cuiscoma
(two blocks west from hotel Gran Francia at Central Park )

Take the highway to Tipitapa and later make a turn to Masaya. From Masaya take the highway to Granada. In Granada at the Esso gas station turn right and after about 1 km later take a left and follow the sign to the city center, up to the Central Park. At the end of the park turn right at hotel Francia and go two more blocks then turn right again into calle Cuiscoma. In the middle of the block on the right side is our Guesthouse.

Toma la autopista en direccion hacia la Ciudad de Tipitapa,luego toma la Carretera que se dirige a Masaya, llegando a un Empalme girando hacia la izquierda, haci tomando la Carretera en linea recta hasta la Ciudad de Granada. Llegando a la entrada de Granada se encuentra la Gasolinera ESSO, tiene que girar hacia la derecha tomando una Calle on Boluver una distancia de 1 km de distancia luego de tomar la Calle Xalteva llegando al Parque Central, luego de llegar a este punto, girar a la Derecha una distancia de 200 mt, y luego tomar 30 mts a la derecha, buscanco el rotulo de Joluva.

We advise you to make an arrangement with us prior to arrival for a pickup service. We charge $10 for this service.

(In high season - starting  December 1st - Nature Air have flights from San Jose to Granada every Sunday, Wednesday and Friday, leaving San Jose
at 6:45 AM  with a stopover in Liberia at 7:45 AM. The arrival time in Granada is 8:20 AM).

There are three major international bus lines from San Jose to Managua: TicaBus, Transnica and  Centraline. All of them are located in a short distance from our guesthouse. Take a taxi and give above directions to the taxi driver. Remember: all taxis are so called "cooperativos", which means they may pickup other passenger going in the same direction. The cost is about 10 cordobas (about 75 US cents). For a big luggage they may charge you more. The fair is negotiable.

If you are lost give us a call from any public phone. You need 4 or 7 cordobas (50 cent dollar) to do this.
